root@titus:~ history
since I started my degree, I’ve learned the fundamentals of computer hardware architecture (logic gates/blocks, buses, registers, assembly language), operating systems (kernel, drivers, scheduling, memory management, filesystems), data structures and algorithms (mostly in C++ — linked lists, stacks, queues, hash tables, sorting, searching, pathfinding algorithms, tuples, multi-threading, shared resources, mutexes, parallelism), software design (OOP, relational databases), dynamic web development (JS, AJAX, PHP, data protection and GDPR), penetration testing (PTES methodology), bash scripting.
to make myself feel good, I’ve earned the Ede & Ravenscroft Prize award which is awarded to the best student who achieves a high level of performance generally and is deemed to be the best student overall.

actively participating and getting involved in CTFs, improving my pentesting skills on online platforms such as HackTheBox, VulnHub and more. I’ve also attended Black Hat 2019 Europe where I got to know the overwhelming InfoSec industry and met amazing InfoSec people.
I’m also a member of the Abertay Ethical Hacking Society which hosts the biggest student-run InfoSec conference in Europe – Securi-Tay.
